Born in Cuba, he began musical studies at a very early age. He has a degree in Music from Higher Institute of Art of Havana.


After training as a percussionist and singer, he has performed since 1998 as a tenor soloist in the Schola Cantorum CORALINA, participating in numerous national and international tours, as well as in several recording works. He has received several postgraduate courses: 'Singing' with the teacher Ivette Gonzalez (Argentina); 'The Baroque in Spain', with the professor Josep Cabré ; 'Technique and interpretation of black spirituals', with the North American professor Kenneth Nafzinger .


Since 2004 he has lived in Spain, where he began to work with professor Ms. Almudena Ortega , and with the pianist Josu Okinena . He has been a member of Festival-Ensemble Stuttgart ( Helmuth Rilling ) and of Europe Chor Akademie ( Joshard Daus) . He was part of Nova Lux Ensemble of the Pamplona Chamber Choir and has performed with the most prominent early music groups in Spain such as Peñaflorida Chapel, Musica Ficta, La Hispanoflamenca, Alfonso (group with which he participated in the ambitious project of interpreting the complete cantatas and the great religious works of Johann Sebastian Bach), Conductus Ensemble, Accademia del Piaccere, His Highness's Musicians .


He has also worked under the direction of Federico Maria Sardelli, Kent Nagano, Andreas Spering, Paul Goodwing and Ton Koopman , who invited him to sing with the Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra at the 'Ton Koopman 70 jaar' concerts in the Netherlands and with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra in the 'Baroque Masters' cycle in Liverpool, in Lyon (Mozart's 'Requiem') and in La Coruña (Bach Johannes Passion). He is currently a member of the National Choir of Spain .
