Methodology
Based on decades of experience and formal studies in higher conservatories in Russia and Germany, José María Álvarez makes a methodological proposal based on the systematic study of the stylistic and formal aspects of choral development throughout the history of music.
It is about providing the student with practical tools (gestural and comprehensive) about the phenomenon of the choir as an interpretive sound body.
Classes include:
- Gestures.
- Analysis of musical form.
- Harmony.
- Counterpoint.
- Vocal technique.
- Testing technique.
- Study of choral repertoire (according to the level of each student).

- Primary and Secondary music teachers.

- Choir conducting students who want to perfect their technique or study system.
- Choir conducting students who need reinforcement classes, prepare a specific program/work or an opposition.

- 2 Thursdays a month from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
