Con Voz Propia premieres this Christmas with the Voces a Contrapunto Choir and Divertimento Vocal

With Own Voice, the female voice choir of MUSIC'us Studio Coral directed by teacher Blanca Anabitarte, will premiere this coming December to the public. He will do it in a concert shared with the Counterpoint Voices Choir, directed by Rosman Alvarado, and Divertimento Vocal, directed by Óscar Galián. The appointment will take place on Tuesday, December 19 at 8:00 p.m. in the Nuestra Señora de las Victorias Parish (c/Azucenas, 34). Access is free until capacity is reached.

  CHORUS VOICES IN COUNTERPOINT

  
  

  Voces a Contrapunto was formed at the beginning of 2014 by a group of friends with musical interests. Since then it has been directed by Oscar Galián, José María Álvarez, Luis Prades and currently by Rosman Alvarado.

  
  

  The repertoire of Voces a Contrapunto covers different genres from different periods and in different languages, from popular songs to classical pieces.

  
  

  The choir rehearses at the Delicias Sports and Cultural Center and since 2019 has been part of the Madrid Choral Federation.

  
  

  Every year it offers several concerts, including traditional Christmas ones.

  Rosman Alvarado,

  He has a degree in Musical Education, graduated from the University of Carabobo in Valencia (Venezuela) and a Master's degree in Latin American Musicology (Central University of Venezuela).

  
  

  He completed studies in lyrical singing and choral conducting at the Aragua State Conservatory of Music (Venezuela), taking different international courses and workshops in different countries in Latin America and Europe, in choral conducting, early music and recorder.

  
  
  

VOCAL FUN

Group that arises from the need of a few choralists who participated in a choir formed for the celebration of the Mass of the Virgin of Chiquinquirá in 2022, to continue making choral music as an independent choir.

Its rehearsal activities begin on March 4, 2023 under the direction of Maestro Oscar Galián.

The initial idea was to make a popular choral repertoire emphasizing Venezuelan popular music and then incorporating music from other latitudes and other styles.

Your director, Oscar Galián, He has a degree in Music, Choral Director, Composer, Arranger, Director of Instrumental Groups, University Musical Teacher, Professor of Plucked String Instruments, Singer, Announcer - singer, Commercial Announcer and Poet, he was born in Caracas on February 5, 1960.

He carried out his musical studies at the following institutions: "Simón Rodríguez" Popular Music School, (Current "José Reina"), "José Lorenzo Llamozas" Music School, "José Ángel Lamas" Music School, "Orquesta Simón" Conservatory Bolívar", University Institute of Musical Studies (Current, UNEARTES),

He directed his first choir in 1978. He has been Professor of the Chair of Choral Arrangements at IUDEM, (Current, UNEARTES), director of countless choirs and vocal and instrumental groups, musical director of Choral Festivals and La Voz. He has been a jury, lecturer and workshop leader at various music festivals.

Although he had previously been the author of several of his compositions, it was in 2010 that his foray into poetry definitively began.
